Weapons are a core part of a DarkRP server. They vary in cost and legality. They are broken up into several different groups:
- Handguns: Available without a gun liscense; range between $195-$300 for a Gun Dealer to spawn, but the Dealer can set the price at whatever he sees fit.
- Rifles/Shotguns: Cannot be picked up with out a gun liscense; only available in shipments that usually cost many thousads of dollars to spawn from a Gun Dealer.
- Grenades/Explosives: Available from a Dealer, weapon chache, or XP unlocks; generally highly illegal for anyone besides the Civil Protection; use is normally regulated on the server because of the destructive capibility.
